The services assist eligible individuals in achieving their employment goals by providing the goods and services to consumers to achieve their employment goal. The Blind Field Services District Operations team is responsible for the processing of invoices, the procurement of all goods and services and administrative functions that support the consumers served by the BFS service delivery teams statewide and the delivery teams. Supports the Administrative Office Technician and provides back-up support with mail and other clerical support.
The SA will assist with the monitoring of the calls received on the public e to appropriate staff. The SA will support and assist the Procurement Analyst with gathering and requesting information needed to maintain vendor information up to date. Assists with the research of invoice payment status requests and support with auditing and posting of invoices. The SA will be responsible for the reviewing and documenting of consumer goods and services received for processing of invoice, communicate with vendors and BFS field teams to request information needed to assist the Accounts in preparing and readying invoices to process payments. Under the direct supervision of the Blind Field Services (BFS), Operations Manager, Staff Services Manager I, within the Specialized Services Division, and working cooperatively with team members and district staff throughout the District, the Student Assistant (SA) will assist with analytical and clerical support to the team, by performing duties related to the operational needs of the of the BFS District Operations team.
